Mekong Delta | Off The Beaten Path Experience

Start the day by leaving the hustle and bustle of Saigon for the peace and tranquility of the Mekong River Delta. The villages and countryside are wonderful destinations for learning about the local culture because they have not experienced as much tourism as other areas.
The first stop will be at a village market where you can interact with locals and try some of the local cuisines. Furthermore, it's the ideal time to stock up on fresh tropical fruit for the trip.
Then, take a quick trip to the majestic and vibrant local Cao Dai Temple. Caodaism is a religious sect that is distinctive to Southern Vietnam and combines Confucianism, Christianity, Taoism, and Buddhism.
Enjoy a peaceful ferry ride crossing the Vam Co River to a local family business making mats, which have traditionally been used in Vietnamese daily life for centuries.

Later, head to Tan Phuoc Tay village where we will join an adventurous bike or scooter ride with our driver through small hamlets surrounded by breathtaking paddy fields, vegetable farms, and dragon fruit fields. This is also a good opportunity for photo lovers.

Travel 20 kilometers (about 12.43 mi) to My Tho City and enjoy a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see floating fish farms as well as explore the small towns, tropical fruit farms, and coconut plantations dotted around the countryside.

Wrap up our great day with a relaxed sampan trip on Mekong’s picturesque canal. Tourists can unwind and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere thanks to the serenity and tranquility of the waterways.
After a short walk-through of the local orchard, we return to the boat station and enjoy the panoramic view over the Rach Mieu Bridge before heading back to Saigon by the freeway.
Our tour will end at the hotel at around 6:30 pm.
